Photo Story: Cecilia Willi

This is an example of a photo story I did on Cecilia Willi, 83, of Santiago, Chile. She is currently a resident at the Atria-on-Hudson in Ossining, New York. This story was originally going to be about how Ms. Willi is navigating COVID-19 whilst living in a assisted living facility - a place where cases have been extremely prevalent. But, Ms. Willi suffers from Alzheimers; hence, she often forgets that there is a pandemic. So, this story ended up simply being out one of the most eccentric, lively women - of any age - that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She told me stories, showed me photos of her past, played me songs on the piano, bought me her favorite kind of cake, and so much more. I hope you enjoy these snippets of my precious time with her.
